REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR YOUR REAL ESTATE LICENSE

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of application for the license
  • Applicants must meet any other requirements that the Real Estate Commission establishes

 

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

1. SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE PRE-LICENSING

The Maryland Real Estate Commission requires that you complete the 60-hour Real Estate for Salespersons Course. You can complete this course at your own pace (wherever/whenever) through the interactive online & mobile-friendly platform.

2. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EXAM PREP ONLINE COURSE

If you have completed pre-licensing, check out the Exam Prep Course to review what you learned in pre-licensing so you are prepared for the exam.

3. PASS THE REAL ESTATE LICENSING EXAM

The exam consists of a national & state portion and candidates must pass each portion with a grade of at least 70%. The exam is given on a computer at a certified exam location and provides on-site score reports immediately upon completion.

4. JOIN HOMESALE REALTY & COMPLETE ACCELERATESM TRAINING

After you successfully affiliate with Homesale Realty, the ACCELERATESM program training and coaching provided by our Directors of Career Development will ensure that you hit the ground running and get your career off to a great start!
